Frequently Asked Questions
-
What are the requirements to bring my dog in?
-
We require three vaccines. Your dog must be up to date with Bordetella, Distemper/Parvo (DHLPP), and Rabies. We recommend Canine Influenza and a monthly flea/tick preventative as well. We encourage bringing your dog's shots copy in before your boarding reservation. That way we can get it in our system and verify your dog has all shots. Your vet can also fax or email it directly to us! Please note all vaccines must be confirmed by a licensed veterinarian. We do not accept vaccines purchased and given by owner.

-
Does my dog have to be a certain age to come in?
-
Yes. Most vets like to wait until dogs are 14-16 weeks old in order to give them their adult distemper and rabies vaccine. Therefore, we just have to wait until your pup is old enough for all three shots.

Are there any spay/neuter requirements?
-
No. We can still take your pup if they aren't spayed or neutered! However, in order for your dog to play with others, they must be spayed/neutered. We can still take them to the play yards and/or water park, but they will just have to have one-on-one time with us workers. Please note we cannot take any dogs recently spayed/neutered. We must wait 2 weeks after their initial surgery day. We must wait until the stitches are removed to insure they are all healed before coming in.

What do I need to bring for boarding?
-
We encourage owners to bring food and treats so there aren't any diet changes for your pup! You may bring a blanket, toys, or anything to make your dog more at home. Please note we have bed cots, blankets, and bowls for all of our furry friends.

My dog takes medicines. Can I bring that in?
-
Yes! Make sure you keep it in the pill bottle, so we have the medicine name on the outside. All of our workers are trained to do medicine. We have done it all from your allergy meds, seizure meds, and even insulin. You may bring in ham, pill pockets, peanut butter, or anything your pup likes the best for medicine.

-
Do you have specific drop off or pick up times?
-
No. As long as it is within our hours, you may drop off or pick up anytime. We are closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day for drop offs, pick-ups, and daycare.
